We have recently started seeing the construction of sustainable cities. In Africa they are being branded Wakanda sustainable cities. The concept is excellent as aspired by famous popstar Akon, and the Mellinda gates foundation. The shadow in it resides in the fact that some of the terms associated with these projects are similar to the Apetheid setups in south Africa.
If the indignants have Africa will be required to obtain visa passes into the sustainable cities, I don’t pick it but maybe you do. Ofcourse this will eventually come pass since most of Africa’s elite have lost esteem in their own continent. They will consider that a previledge to be among the few embraced in sustainable cities.
What If The Future Has started
Africa is suffering from a wrong intepretation of politics as the art of telling lies and believing in them. Fathers concieved lies during a physical form of independepence. They passed that lie to their children, and now their grand children consider it to be the character of the “wise”. Following that trend, there’s still no remedy for Africa’s salvation unless the lie is undone.
Why would Africans continue running away from their continent in search of better salaries? Imagine IT professionals that can perform their duties irrespective of their location choosing fleeing into high costs of living. In the global cyber market, we all vie for the same clients. If I live in the United States and another Fulani lives in Kalabar, if we get the same jobb and receive similar pay, who will be better off?
